I Feel So Accomplished

I Painted!!!

Yup, over the weekend I bought myself a beginner's acrylic paint set and a bunch of 6 x 6 framed stretched canvases (the local Art Store had a crazy holiday sale). I finally decided to experiment today and painted three squares:

1. Joy to All -- bright Christmas star (comet style) with Christmas tree on snow, dark background.
2. Xmas Love -- Two reindeer (one male, one female) facing each other, red noses touching, looking happy. Big Red Heart underneath.
3. Peace Unto You -- Nutcracker soldier with two ornament balls.

Unfortunately, my cousin lent her digital camera to her friend so I can't upload the pictures. I'm planning to give them to my (older) cousins for Christmas, since they're not the video games/toys type.

One day, I'm gonna paint something big to fill the gaping blank spot on the wall on my side of the room...
