NYU weather for May 11. Blegh, not the best weather, but at least the rain won't (shouldn't, can't, hopefully not going to) come until the evening, and I rather like the idea of not baking in the sun while wrapped in my too-dense cap and gown and forced to listen to, oh, a few hours' worth of deans and "distinguished speakers" drone on and on. On the other hand, I'm very much looking forward to the post-ceremony reception. I have two to choose from, but it's no debate that I'm going to the Near Eastern Studies reception. That department has always fed me well :)
