Hello, Mr. Snowman
There's a snowman outside a grocery store near my office. It started showing up on January 18 and has since grown in size and stature.
My first introduction to Mr. Snowman, January 18, 2011:
Then on January 21, more snow happened...
Same day in the evening, Mr. Snowman got all spiffed up. Taken with Little Kid to give you perspective of how huge he is:
I was running late to work on January 24, so only caught a distant view. Mr. Snowman was still standing tall.
On January 25, he got decorated.
THEN...
More snow happened on January 27, so much so that my office was closed. When I returned on January 28, I found an eerily transformed Mr. Snowman...
...wrapped in a snow snuggie and still holding his wreath:
...but now with TWO faces! Here's a side profile:
It's gotten a bit warmer this weekend (relatively speaking) so I hope Mr. Snowman doesn't melt. I eagerly await his next transformation. Supposedly, more snow is forthcoming on Groundhog Day!
