Well, at least I officially have a topic now...

Course: History of the Modern Middle East, 1750-1962.
Goal: Critical, well-thought-out paper, 12-15 pages, double-spaced.
Due Date: May 10, 2005 by 5:00 p.m.
Progress: New topic! To examine opposition against colonialism in Morocco during the July 1912 revolt: were there elements of jihad exhortations? Did the nationalist discourse dominate? Were oppositions top-down or mobilized by the masses?
