Musical Evenings
May. 28th, 2005 01:33 pmI have two adolescent cousins. Both play instruments like the good little Asian kids that they are. Both had concerts in the past two days.
Cousin #1: May 26, 2005. She played at the Concert for Hope at the Kimmel Center Verizon Hall in Philadelphia. Featured piece: Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. Featured soloist: [Bad username or site: ee970 / @ livejournal.com]'s mom ^_^
Cousin #2: May 27, 2005. He played at the American Fine Arts Festival at Carnegie Hall, New York. This was a piano/violin recital for first place winners from Music Association competitions. It was also a four hour long concert. I left after 3.5 hours :p
I miss the days when I used to have concerts...
