2005 NBA Champion: San Antonio Spurs
Jun. 23rd, 2005 11:58 pmA very tight game tonight, just like the previous game. I watched the first half, part of third quarter and part of fourth. When I left
tanechigai's place in the middle of third quarter, Pistons had about a six point lead. When I got back into Manhattan, the lead was reversed, with the Spurs leading by six.
The Pistons fought till the end, with Rasheed Wallace making an end-of-the-quarter 3-pt. shot (and missing a later attempt), and playing tactics with fouling and utilizing their time outs. Yet they were unable to make the necessary comeback to win the game.
Final score: 81-74, San Antonio Spurs WINS the 2005 NBA Championship—third time in seven seasons!
This being the last game of the season, I will write a more reflective game summary than normal... when I get around doing it. It will be behind the LJ cut when it's done, so check back for updates :)
