Life is but a Video Game

So lately I've been feeling generally overwhelmed with work and feeling rather morose because I'm overwhelmed. I kind of dismissed it as the mid-semester blues because everybody seems to be going through the same thing. But it ended (kind of)! Guess what cured it? Video games.

My apartment mates and I started playing Animal Crossing again. *inserts "woo-hoo, whoo-hoo" Animal Crossing cheering noises* My new roommate now took over as Queen J, the roommate who moved out. Now all we need is A-ko and the town will be complete ;)

By the way, sunnydlita and everydaysushi's town is awesome! Both of their houses are so much nicer than my haphazardly thrown together junkyard of a house.

I also started playing Yu-Gi-Oh! again on my Gameboy. You know, I actually felt happy when I played, dueling with Pegasus and Yugi and Joey.

Then there's Neopets. Haven't played much of that lately, but Neopets always makes me smile ^_^

Oh, and Literati on Yahoo!Games. For my more brainy moments.

Y'know, if I'd started playing video games earlier, maybe I could have skipped my weeks of melancholy. Or maybe not, since I'd be crushed with unfinished work due to procrastination. I've got no time for new games, so I won't be buying the new Harry Potter game. But I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 2 when it comes out this winter!
