Happy Graduation to Me
May. 8th, 2006 11:57 pmToday was the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences convocation, which means ... I graduated! That I still need to start and finish my thesis is merely a technicality.
The ceremony was loooong. But this meant I got my name called. and I was called along with my NES classmates, so we were all together when we got hooded. My mind went blank the moment I stepped onto the stage, so I hope the pictures they took of me turn out okay ^_^;;
We were in the Avery Fischer Hall for the graduation, and right outside the Lincoln Center building was David Blaine, still swimming in his globe of water. Unfortunately, he didn't manage to break the underwater breath-holding stunt: Blaine Fails to Set Underwater Record.
Next event: university-wide commencement on Thursday. More excitement for my fake, not-yet graduation!
