Since I understand that not everyone can come out to the Thursday night 11:59 p.m. showing...

November 19, 2:00 p.m., IMAX showing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at Lincoln Square. Costume, trivia and other fannish activities starting 12:40 p.m. Anyone interested? Details here.

Ganked from heidi8: GoF movie review. The general consensus among people who took Heidi's poll is that Ms. Day probably has never read the Harry Potter books. I chose "Did she get *paid* for this?" option as my poll response.

GoF World Premiere at London. It's played on a loop, over and over again. It provided great background music for me while I stared at the computer for 8 hours today trying to do a ginormous revision (yes, I did finish my revision). I love British/Scottish accents ;)

Did you see the press conference video? There's a button near the bottom of the world premiere link. It's pretty fun to watch.

did i tell you i almost chose Edinburgh as my study abroad locale? But ended up with UEA b/c Edinburgh doesn't have an extensive English program, much better at the sciences. Actually UEA is kinda weird for a Euro Uni, since it's so humanities based. I'm sure you know that a liberal arts degree is very American.

just a bit anxious, haven't gotten my physical packet from the university yet and i've been bugging them constantly :). haven't bought my ticket either.
