Friday Summary

ziasudraI had a good day today. Work was cut short because the teachers needed to grade the New York City's math exams. I used the extra time to meet up with the other 50% of my year's joint-degree program (i.e., one other person). I was comforted by the knowledge that I'm not the only one behind in my final project ^_^;;
And then I passed out more flyers. No heart-wrenching conversations today.

methegirl3! It was great to finally meet her. She said the way I talk reminded her of someone, and I can easily see her as one of my "real" friends if she lives in NYC. It's amazing how making LJ friends can be just like making friends in RL—common interests, similar life stage experience, keeping up with each other's lives, etc.
Tomorrow, it's early to the airport for me!
