From BBC: Inventor of instant noodles dies

"The inventor of instant noodles, Momofuku Ando, has died in Japan, aged 96, of a heart attack."

You know, instant noodle is a great invention. I can't imagine life without it. It's cheap, tasty, and definitely my comfort food. I'm so glad I live in a world where there's instant noodles. *pays tribute to Mr. Ando*

*weep* without instant noodles I don't know if I would have survived my first year in NYC! (well, between ramen, leftover desserts, and 6k) ;)

I don't think any self-starting college grads (or even college students during their poorer days) would be able to appease their stomachs without instant noodles. Even you had had your share of ramen/pasta/affordable food at 6K ;)

a true culinary genius. I would not have made it through college without Ramen noodles. They should put a statue of this guy outside every dorm in America.

Oh, they totally should. It makes so much more sense than putting up statues of people no one really knows ;p
