Went to school. Taught eighth graders basic Trigonometry. Attempted to drill in their heads the properties of 30-60-90 degree triangles. Taught seventh graders how to write a skit about gambling and cheating at poker (I kid you not). Went home. Cleaned the kitchen. Took a nap.

Woke up at 6:30 and turned on my computer, and sitting in my Inbox is a JOB OFFER! Well, not really, but a possible part-time job stint.

The e-mail reads:
Hally, are you available for a two-day a week temp copy-editing job for the next two or three months (April through early to mid June)? It's at Publishers Weekly and is straight copy editing. If you are interested, please e-mail a resume to (name taken out for privacy) at (e-mail address taken out for privacy), and tell her you're one of my students.

Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity to earn a few extra bucks some editing experience. I'm reeeally hoping I get this. *crosses fingers*

Thanks. Still awaiting a response, which given the weekend, will most likely be a few more days of waiting.

Thanks...now comes the worst part, the waiting *bites nails*

lol, yup, we are online at the same time. Maybe I'll catch you on Y!messenger. That's -_- if I get my act together to wash my dishes and complete other quick chores first.

Now if only I could sell a bloody story/novel/song.
One day it'll happen. The business is based on luck as much as it is based on talent. But you've got the talent, so... *wishes you luck*

Yeah the waiting's the worse by far. Haha your "chores" I'm a lazy bum. I have none :). The perks of living w/ your mother. Well, even if I tried to do anything she would just do it again b/c I "don't do a good enough job" hence why I don't do anything. She's gonna bitch at me anyway.

Thanks for thinking I have talent. If only I had more talent. *sighs*

Yeah I already sent my resume to the appropriate person the first chance I got, now it's just waiting and see if she'll take me.

You know, I have no idea why my professor e-mailed me out of the entire class. My guess is she already knows some of them have current internships, and, well, if she goes down the list alphabetically I'm somewhere near the top ;p

lol guess what? One of my college friends is dragging me to the Redeemer choir rehearsal tomorrow! I'm not even a Redeemer member! Who knows, maybe I'll end up *in* the service this Sunday???
